Did you know that the City of Warwick provides free outdoor entertainment for the summer? Concerts are held at various parks within Warwick for eight weeks throughout the summer.
Please bring a chair or a blanket along with some family and friends and join us for these fun, safe evenings.

WARWICK RECREATION
2008 SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM
AGES 6-12 YEARS (Must be 6 before July 4th, 2008)
Dates: Tuesday through Friday July 8th – August 8th
No Playground Mondays or Rainy days
Times: Activities are scheduled from 9:30-12:30 P.M. in order to allow time for bus runs before and after playground hours.
Ages: 6 to 12 years
Activities: Swimming (McDermott Pool), Roller Skating, arts and crafts, sports and special events
Locations: City Park- Children are transported from neighborhoods to City Park
Please look at the playground schedule for your child’s daily schedule.

Learn to Skate Summer Program -
Thayer Arena, Warwick, RI
Learn to Skate Program
3 years to 5 years old
Session 1 May 15, 2008 - June 19, 2008
Session 2 June 26, 2008 - July 31, 2008
Session 3 August 7, 2008 - September 11, 2008
Time: 9:30AM-10:30 AM
Fee: $50.00 (each six-week sessions)
Children will learn the basic fundamentals of skating taught by experienced skating professionals.

Women's Golf League - The Warwick Recreation Department announces the start of its summer golf league for women 18 years of age and up, to be held on Tuesday mornings each week during the summer at Seaview Country Club.

to announce that the Recreation Department, in cooperation with

Description:
The City of Warwick provides a wide range of facilities for both
recreation and athletics. From skating and swimming to dog shows
and quilting, the Recreation department is a valuable contributor
to our quality of life.
Major Responsibilities:
- To provide the people of Warwick with recreational activities
both active and passive for all ages.
- To maintain all facilities in a safe, attractive, and usable
condition.
- To strive to develop new facilities in order to respond to the
recreational needs of our city.
- To encourage and provide support for those volunteer groups
and citizens who are sponsoring recreational activities.
